The Greeson’s … A Family Tradition
In dedication to our faith in God and love of family and people, we have committed more than 40 years to serving the Lord through song.
The many miles we have traveled, the blessings gained, and the trials we have faced increase our desire to continue.
From the days of the ladies singing with Mom, as Dad accompanied on the piano To their bother Eric, playing the drums.
With the additions of husbands, children, and friends coming along and having a love for singing, all we can say is, “We Have Been So Blessed.”
Darrell (Bass)
I sing bass for the group. I was born on October 27 in Columbia, Tennessee, and was raised in Elkton, Tennessee, a small town just north of the Alabama border in middle Tennessee. I was saved at the age of 12 during a youth revival in Athens, Alabama.
I attended Elkton High School, where I was really involved in sports. The school consolidated my senior year, and I graduated from Giles County High School in Pulaski, Tennessee. Then I attended college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I didn’t always work for the Lord the way I should, and if there was any part of my life that I would do over, it would be that I would have worked harder for the Lord during my college years.
In 1985 I met my wife Karen and we were married on April 25, of that year. It has been a honeymoon ever since. It is great traveling and working for the Lord every weekend and it is extra special because I get to travel with family.
Lisa (Alto)
I was born on February 14 in Ft. Payne, AL. I love the Lord with all my heart! I am so glad He spoke to me when I was a young girl, and I accepted Him into my heart. I thank God for my parents, who took us to church and taught us to love the Lord and to serve Him with all our hearts
I was blessed to have been married to my husband, Tony, for 22 years, and we have two children, Jacob and Emily. In May of 2008, Tony was diagnosed with advanced Prostate Cancer at the age of 45. He fought it for 2 1/2 years, and on November 4, 2010, he went to be with the Lord. the one he had sung about for so long. We miss him here but oh, what a reunion……SOMEDAY!
In September 2015, the Lord allowed by path to cross with Kenny Booth, who became my husband on April 8, 2017. We had a beautiful beach wedding! God surely played a part in our life for us to find one another. What a journey God is allowing to happen! Our story is so amazing! Make sure to ask me or him when you have time and we would love to tell you.
I am blessed to still be singing and traveling with my family. I can’t help but sing unto HIM, the one who meets our every need and guides us.
Karen (Soprano)
I was born on May 4, in a year of our Lord, in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA. I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior at the age of 10 and shortly after God corrected a speech impairment that I had since the time I could talk. When God touches you in such a way as He did me you can’t help but sing for His glory and to help others to understand the love He has for them.
Gospel music has always played a very important part in our family heritage. From the time Lisa was 7 years old and I was 5 we have been singing together. Then, meeting and marrying Darrell who sung as well was icing on my cake! We have two sons, Joey and Christian, who grew up with a love for ministry and served alongside us for many years. We are so thankful for the years they gave and pray for them as they move forward.
It’s my desire to serve God and to help build up His kingdom. My journey has been sweet and I look forward to what God has in store for my future.

I was born on July 12th in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. I am excited to be back with my friends! A lot has taken place since I was last a part of the Greesons. I have enjoyed doing solo dates as well as being a part of the D&D Tour and being the pianist for friends at NQC for several years. Thankful once again to be singing and sharing the talents God has given me to help encourage believers and minister to the lost.
Next to my salvation, the most joyful day of my life was marrying my sweetheart, Victoria, on August 17, 2019. Only for the blessings to continue with the birth of our daughter, Amelia Kate, on November 11, 2020. I am thankful for their support as I minister, and may they always feel my gratitude.
We look forward to the future and what God has in store for us.
